The problem
Someone I knew needed a way to pull transaction records out of an internal dashboard and into Google Sheets, but there was no export option — copying everything over by hand was slow and easy to get wrong.
The approach
I built a Chrome extension that reads the records straight off the page through a content script, hands them to a background script, and pushes them into a Google Sheet through a Google Apps Script web app — turning a manual copy-paste job into something that just runs.
The outcome
It wasn't a paid job — I built it as a favor — but it's one of the more technically interesting things I've shipped: real scraping, real cross-context messaging, and a real automation pipeline that solves an actual problem instead of just demonstrating one.
